Clean Coal Projects Database
Clean Coal Projects is a new online database of developments in and applications of clean coal technologies. The database includes brief reports on a range of activities including research plans for industry, progress and costs of major programmes, new technology developments, commercial activities (announcements and details of new plants), CO2 capture from coal-based activities, legislation and policy issues, plus relevant developments within the R & D community. Web links and references allow the user to obtain further information.
The presentation of the database is still under development and its coverage will never be fully comprehensive. However, it should form a useful guide to the growing number of announcements of future activities on CCTs. Users can improve the coverage of the database by adding their own records. Records entered in this way will be verified by the Clean Coal Centre before they are made public on the database. IEA CCC would welcome any feedback on the Clean Coal Projects database.
