The IEA Clean Coal Centre maintains a number of databases on all aspects of clean coal technologies and their use. They are available here – some are free to view and others require a subscription.
Coal Abstracts
The database holds more than 230,000 abstracts of coal literature up to August 2011 in a fully searchable form. It is searchable for no charge.
Coal Power
Holds information on more than 2,300 coal-fired power plants, 7,000 individual units and 1,300 addresses throughout the world. The database is no longer updated, (from May 2012) so it is available to previous subscribers at no charge. Coal Online
Is an encyclopedia of coal. It is compiled from reports published by the IEA Clean Coal Centre and is searchable on a free to view basis.
Coal Meetings
Is a fully searchable, free to view database of events such as conferences, workshops and meetings, which are relevant to those in the coal industry. The database is updated regularly.
Clean Coal Technologies
Is a fully searchable database that is freely available. It holds accurate, yet brief, descriptions of the many clean coal technologies and so it is a useful reference tool.
Emission Standards
The standards relevant to coal combustion are reported for each country or region listed and are available on a free to view basis.
