Debo Adams is Studies Manager and Company Secretary. She is responsible for the selection and management of the IEA Clean Coal Centre’s programme of studies and dissemination of the work of the Centre. Debo manages the website, organises the webinars, and produces the annual review of the CCC. She also organises the Executive Committee meetings. Prior to this role, Debo was Communications Manager and organiser of the Workshop series on Cofiring biomass with coal, Assistant Editor and Technical Author at the Centre. She has written a range of reports, on subjects such as the sustainability of biomass, flue gas capture, emission factors and efficiency upgrades of power plants. Debo was a freelance author for a number of years and wrote reports for organisations such as the IEA GHG, the Financial Times and the World Petroleum Council. She began her career as an Information Scientist for the IEA CCC and the IEAGHG at the launch of the IEAGHG in 1991.
