Xing Zhang started writing reports for the CCC in 2012. She joined the IEA CCC as an Information Specialist in February 2000 where her principal responsibility was the development and maintenance of the Coal Abstracts database, Coal Meetings database and assistance with the Company website. From 2009-2012 Xing was responsible for the management and maintenance of the Coal Power database. She was also involved in producing DTI’s Guide to Cleaner Coal Technology-Related Web Sites and World Coal Institute’s Clean Coal Technologies Technology & Research Directory.After a short period of academic study at Oxford University, she worked in the Environmental Centre at the Civil Engineering Department of Imperial College, London. Xing worked at the Pollution Control Department in the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences for two-years following her BSc and MSc in China.
