Anne Carpenter has worked for the Centre for over 30 years. She has written reports on a variety of topics including coal classification, combustion, coal analysis, power generation, polygeneration, PCI in blast furnaces, use of coal in direct ironmaking, CO2 abatement in the iron and steel industry, low water FGD and advances in multi-pollutant control. Anne is responsible for the library and updates the Emissions Standards database. She previously helped develop and maintain the Coal Abstracts database. Anne graduated from Leicester University with a BSc (Hons) in Combined Studies (Chemistry, Geology and Archaeology) and an MSc in Information Science from City University.
