Dr Colin Henderson has worked at the IEA CCC as an analyst and author for over twelve years. Previously with British Coal’s Coal Research Establishment (CRE) for more than twenty years, Colin worked on technology reviews and techno-economic and financial assessments of the major coal utilisation systems for power generation. He is familiar with all the major coal power station processes, such as supercritical pulverised coal and gasification combined cycles, and is particularly involved in the future development of technologies. Colin graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Chemistry and was awarded a PhD from the University of Hertfordshire in Physical Chemistry. [email protected]
