Banpu (Thailand) is represented on the IEA CCC Executive Committee by Mr Akaraphong Dayananda and Mr Prach Chongkittisakul.
Banpu, has over 30 years of accumulated experience in the domestic and international coal industry. The company operates coal and coal-related businesses – ranging from investment, exploration and development, to production of both thermal and coking coals. Banpu’s expertise lies in open-pit and underground coal mining operations, as well as coal-fired power generation.
At present, Banpu has business bases in Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, China, Australia, and Mongolia.
