| The Coal Abstracts database holds more than 230,000 abstracts of coal literature from 1987 up to August 2011 in a fully searchable form. Abstracts cover books, journals, reports, individual papers from conference proceedings, dissertations and reports of research programmes on all aspects of the coal chain. A range of subjects are included: the coal industry, reserves and exploration, mining, coal preparation, coal transport and handling, coal properties, coal combustion, power generation, waste management, environmental aspects of coal handling and combustion, coal products and health and safety issues.
There is no charge for access to Coal Abstracts.
It is easiest to search by author and title if you know the work you are looking for, or to use keywords if you want to find a number of papers on a particular subject.
